Yesterday 23 senior delegates of the China State Administration of Industry and Commerce (SAIC) visited the BCC LinkToChina. SAIC is China business authority for business licence required by any company to operate in China.
Led by Deputy Director General, Mr. Xiaodong Xu, of the Registration Directorate for Foreign Investment Enterprises, the officials from the adminstration’s HQ and 17 cities and provinces of Beijing, Xian, Ningxia, Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Ningbo, Guangdong, Guizhou, Liaoning, Jiangxi, Tianjin, Shanxi, Hunan, and Qinghai held talks with Dr. Kegang Wu, Executive Director of LinkToChina and representatives of the LinkToChina Advisory Council, Linda Penny of Wilkins Kennedy, and Richard Wade of Blake Lapthorn on market regulations and services for merge and acquisition, company formation and how Chinese companies can be engaged in the UK market through formation of various companies and M&A.
The two sides explored in details how the LinkToChina business matchmaking service, with the support of the local authority and professional service partners, can the platform for Chinese companies looking to do business and engage in M&A activities in the UK market.
