Invest in UK Seminar in China

Promoting British Investment Locations, Projects and Professional Services in China

Invest in UK Seminar at the China Enterprise Outbound Investment Conference (annually in April in Beijing)

We have been the official partner for the UK the this national event since 2008 and have organised The Invest in UK seminar each year over that period.

With the UK-China Business Bulletin services that enable Business Matchmaking  in partnership with CCPIT, we take a number of projects from the UK to the conference each year.

China Enterprises’ Outbound Investment Conference is China’s official outward
investment
event, with the largest gathering of usually 1000-1600 potential investors, government agencies, media, professionals and multipliers each year.

As a national policy forum for investment outside of China, the keynote
speakers at the plenary session consist of national government agencies including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance, General Administration of Customs, State Administration of Taxation, Development Research Centre of State Council, and State administration of Foreign Exchange.

The event is a destination promotion platform, where countries viable for investment are selected and invited to host country seminars (like the Invest in UK Seminar) in order to lure Chinese investors and promote their locations to the Chinese government and media. Local authorities and inward investment agencies have the chance to rub shoulders with their European and American counterparts.

Professional services, such as accounting, legal, trade and business support, financial, developers and other investment services are popular speakers at breakout seminars and the match-making session.

The UK seminar has been one of the focal points for the
Conference, we include presentations from
UK local authorities, leaders of professional services and leading business in the low carbon industrial sector, to represent the best of British in investment opportunities, services and market conditions.

The seminar is marketed through hundreds of provincial and city branches of the CCPIT network and Chinese media. More than 50 media organisations invited to cover the conference.
